MÉZES MÁLY – 1ST GROWTH TOKAJI ASZÚ 6 PUTTONYOS 2007

This year held many challenges but we are delighted by our 2007 Single Vineyard Aszú wines. They are rich and beautifully balanced and represent a pinnacle amongst recent vintages. The winter was mild but very dry with no frost to speak of. Sometimes this can encourage disease in the vineyard but thanks to our vineyard management the vines remained healthy.

The loess top-soil of the Mézes Mály vineyard gives lovely honey-like, floral character to the wine. Mézes Mály aszu 2007
has an amber colour, a very complex fruity and flourish aroma which stems from the distinctive character of the vineyard. The
palate is honeyed with ripe fruits and dried chamomile. Very rounded, beautifully balanced and elegant.
