Golden yellow in colour. Fine citrusy aroma as well as a hint of orange peel that hit the nose, later turning to linden honey, and then all of a sudden, the bouquet of damp soil after rain captures the nose. As soon as the wine reaches the palate, it is fascinated with the aromas of apricot, later a note of pear and lime with a hint of vanilla. An ethereal elegance is accompanied with the delicate and rich taste. Refreshing aroma of grapefruit adds to the lingering finish.
“Bursting with zesty tangerine peel aromas and a gentle clover honey sweetness, the Mád Cuvée Late Harvest reflects a lighter style of Tokaji, but with a freshness and delicacy that’s ethereal.” – Anna Lee C. Iijima May 2011, Wine Enthusisast, USA
