Mézes Mály is one of just two vineyards classified as a Great First Growth.
Its volcanic bedrock is overlaid with deep loess soil, giving elegance, finesse and floral notes to its wines. Royal Tokaji owns 11 of its 19 hectares, facing south with views to the Great Plain in the distance.
The year 2015, with generally warm and dry conditions, was a very good vintage especially for dry wines, but also for late harvest Tokaji wines.
Mézes Mály Furmint 2015 is a medium-bodied wine with lime and ripe apricot on the nose It is characterized by full, intense, fruity flavours as well as crisp acidity. Its finish is fresh and pleasant.
