Furmint grapes were harvested at the end of September. Whole bunches were pressed and we fermented the lots in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, racking and sulphuring about half of the entire amount was matured in 300 l and 500 l barrels with a proportion of 15% new oak.
Delicious as an aperitif, with seafood or white meats. Serving temperature at 11 – 13 °C.

THE ODDITY TOKAJI FURMINT DRY 2016
The unique Furmint grape produces a fresh and aromatic wine with aromas of grape flowers, apples and peach. The final blend is approximately half barrel-fermented and half tank-fermented. On the palate the wine is dry and sleek with a long crisp finish.
In 2016 the overall quality is very high with good ripeness and acidity and volumes in line with long-term averages.
